The everyday object, is not only a consumer good, it is at the same time a decoration, therefore, it is constituted in a reflection around a life that meanders in apparent calmness. Yet, at the same time, it allows us to see that the inner world has changed with the passing of time, by asserting that is not just a matter of feeding ourselves in accordance withour own natural survival, but also by living off of what you project towards others. It’s to say; in a mirror that exists inherently in the retina of others. In this sense, the object as a concept represents a culture where social roles identify an era where nothing is exactly what it appears to be.
The human being has diverted his ancient traditions and developed his behavior patterns by the imposition of others. To exalt the relevance of what’s inherently lost; this piece uses the symbolism of the frog, which is in essence the representation of a human being. Furthermore, the lack-there-of color in this piece inspired the idea of portraying what’s conceived as real without a mask, without makeup, in its pure essence. Even though this batrachian in a civilized society is an indicator of what should not be exposed under a traditional mindset, by observation in this space, we cannot deny its existence along with its interaction with everyday objects. Therefore this piece, embodying a reflection of the search for truth, manages to transcend the material dimension.
