"In every combination of color and every drawing on paper or canvas, I gave birth not only to my will, but to our Creator.

I thank GOD for this talent he has given me. He is my source of inspiration".

BIOGRAPHY

Born in Mar del Plata, Argentina. Lover of his city and the sea, he grew up with his family and the visual artist Raul Ballester. As a teenager, his inclination to drawing and combination of color were his main motivation. He was educated in Mar del Plata, attending elementary and High School at Art and Craft PAUL TAVELLI from Don Orione. Over the years, Gerardo started his business where he had significant success using raw materials of different colors combined with geometric designs for winter clothing and summer collections. In 1992 he established himself in USA and after a long down time, he restarted his painting and drawing.

Specifically my latest works are related to the message that we receive daily from our consumption-based society, the ecosystem we inhabit, and the dangers that we face if we do not take care our environment. Each work has a message on the color and perspective which can address the clear message of care, at the same time observing us in our lifestyle. Materials such as paper, cotton, plastic, metal, and glass are my favorites, all this together with oil and acrylic give it life in my work.
